All of the Runes have an image, or symbol, that sets the train of recollection, ideology, and meaning in motion. This image isn't the 'meaning' of the rune, it is the picture that sparks off of the meaning and gives it form and reality.

The prompt-symbol for Jera is harvest. The efforts that we have put out are coming back to us in completion. The seeds we have planted have grown and can be harvested. It must be remembered, however, that only what we have sent out or begun will come back to us in completion. Jera is also the rune of an ending time; things will come to a natural close and a new season will begin.
